A long-standing village hotel near Kasheli Bandh, on the Kasheli — Gangkhadi ST bus route. After a walk along the shore, a visit to the Shri Datta Mandir or a stroll along the Desai Khar Bund, villagers and visitors often pause here for a simple Konkani meal.

Kasheli is a small village and does not yet have large-scale hotel infrastructure. Suggested alternatives:

• Ratnagiri : the district headquarters (18 miles north) — hotels of various categories and a Vayudoot airstrip.
