V.S. Gurjar — Personal Correspondence
A 40-page archive of handwritten letters received by the celebrated Marathi writer Vithal Sitaram Gurjar ("Anna") from publishers, editors and literary friends of early-20th-century Bombay. Several letters are on the printed letterhead of "Manoranjak Granth Prasarak Mandali" — publisher of the influential weekly Manoranjan, edited by K. R. Mitra — sent from its office at R. G. Chasan Road, Girgaon. The collection includes envelopes addressed directly to Gurjar at Kasheli. A rare primary-source window into the editorial and friendship networks that shaped early modern Marathi literature.
Song of Kasheli
A traditional Marathi devotional poem composed by Bhaskar Narayan Bhagvat, weaving together the landscape of Kasheli, the Shri Kanakaditya temple and the social life of the village. Each verse closes with the refrain "Kasheli aaun Kankoba pahi" — "come to Kasheli and behold Lord Kanakaditya" — making the work both a hymn and an invitation to the village's annual fair. Two pages, preserved by JVKArchives.
